Greetings!
My name is Cindy Brahms, Certified Somatic Therapist, L1. and Certified Vibrational Sound Practitioner

After experiencing my first sound bath many years ago surrounded by crystal quartz singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, gongs, and drums, a lingering feeling of calm and bliss felt new and enlightening. I needed to know MORE. My years of learning took me on a path of exploration and study into sound healing with many teachers and a variety of instruments. Through Vibrational Sound Association, I discovered their beautifully handcrafted Himalayan Zen singing bowls, These bowls have a soothing resonance when placed on the body, offering a tranquil and comforting vibrational massage, with benefits of stress reduction, relaxation, and well being.

My interest and passion in being a conduit to helping others heal themselves also led me to Somatic Therapy, specifically Transformative Touch Somatic Therapy which uses gentle touch and talk. Somatic Therapy uses the body as its starting point for healing. The word “somatic” is derived from the Greek word “soma” which means “living body.” It is a holistic form of therapy that is grounded in the relationship between the mind and the body. Somatic Therapy offers a variety of benefits. It reduces discomfort, strain, and stress in the body. It transforms negative emotional experiences, creates a greater sense of Self, builds resilience and offers hope. My hands, heart, and ears, offer a safe place to arrive, in calm surroundings as we slowly work together; to hear the messages of one’s body, so that body, mind, and spirit can be aligned, in order to step forward in one’s life more confidently and integrated.
